Heavenly Father, tonight as we turn the calendar to another month, we pray for all those among us who have not personally seen one another’s faces, or perhaps not in a very long time. May our hearts be encouraged, having been knit together in love; and may we all attain together to all the wealth that comes from the understanding and true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. We pray that no one will be deluded by persuasive argument; but instead, through good discipline, help us maintain the stability of our faith in Christ. May we continue to walk in Him, remain firmly rooted and built up in Him, and be firmly established in our faith. For so we were instructed, and therefore we now overflow with great gratitude. Lord, please see to it that no one is taken captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. Lord, we acknowledge that in You all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and that in You, we have been made complete. You, O God are the Head over all rule and authority. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
