evening prayer (5/26/2017)

I cry aloud to You, O Lord; I lift up my voice to You for mercy.   I pour out my complaint before You; before You I tell my trouble.  When my spirit grows faint within me, it is You who watches over my way.   Therefore, I cry to you, O Lord my God.  I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”  Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need…  Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your Name.  Amen.
Prayer from Psalm 142 NIV
