morning prayer (4/12/2017)

Good morning Jesus! Lord, how can we love each other enough to bear every wrong? Is our love great enough to not be envious? Lord, we are not  patient, and we remember when others hurt us. And sometimes, we want what’s best for us rather than others. Lord, where does the strength and wisdom come from to obey your Word? It’s only by your Holy Spirit. Baptize us in your Spirit Lord…..immerse us in Him. Activate the gifts of the Spirit in us….give us a desire to do your Word at all cost. Help us to be doers of your Word…not just hearers. This…is life-giving. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
