evening prayer (3/26/2017)

Father, may we set our hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at your right hand. As your chosen people, holy and dearly loved, may we clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. May we bear with each other and forgive one another if any of us has a grievance against someone. Let us forgive as the Lord forgave us. And let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, since as members of one body we were called to peace. And let us be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among us richly as we teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in our hearts. And whatever we do, whether in word or deed, may we do it all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Amen.
