evening prayer (3/16/2017)

Father, all honor and glory belong to You. As your chosen people, holy and dearly loved, may we clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Let us bear with each other and forgive one another if any of us has a grievance against someone. Let us forgive as You forgave us. And over all these virtues, may we put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.  May we let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, since as members of one body we were called to peace. And let us always be thankful. May we let the message of Christ dwell among us richly as we teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in our hearts. And whatever we do, whether in word or deed, may we do it all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to You, our God and Father through Him. Amen.
