evening prayer (3/4/2017)

I love you, O Lord, my strength. You are my rock, my fortress and my deliverer… my God in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to You, Lord, for You are worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called to You, the Lord of my life; I cried to you for help. From your temple You heard my voice; my cry came before You, into your ears. You heard and answered me; You saved me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer based on Psalm 18 NIV
