evening prayer (2/11/2017)

Heavenly Father, we praise You that it is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Help us to stand firm and not let ourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Thank You that we have been called to be free. But may we not use our freedom to indulge the sinful nature; but rather, to serve one another in love. For the entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Lord, please teach us to love one another. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
