morning prayer (10/15/2016)

Good morning Jesus. Lord, I have friends who do not sleep. Their nights are filled with fear, anxiety, pain and uncertainty about what even the next day holds. Many pray through the night asking you for relief…asking that you would move on their behalf to set things straight. Dear Lord, hear their prayers — let them be like a sweet smelling fragrance in your nostrils. Send your Spirit in the dark of night to bring peace and assurance that you are with them always. And when the sun peaks over the horizon, and morning comes — bring them joy. Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30:4,5
