morning prayer (9/26/2016)

Good morning Jesus. Lord, I say that I love you. And I tell you that I trust you. But then Lord, many times I don’t live my life in a way that honors you. I forget to see you in my circumstances; I leave prayer as a last resort. I don’t love my neighbor as myself. Forgive me Jesus. I know that fullness of joy and abundant life are only found when I seek first your Kingdom, and when I dwell in you and you in me. Lord fill me with your Spirit; immerse me in your Spirit. Lord, make me desperate for you, like the deer that pants after water.
