evening prayer (7/22/2016)

Heavenly Father, in the past I acted arrogantly, became stubborn and would not listen to your commandments. I refused to listen and did not remember your wondrous deeds which You had performed. I became stubborn and set my heart to return to my slavery. But You are a God of forgiveness, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving kindness. You did not forsake me. Therefore I will praise you all of my days. Thank you, Dear Lord for the joy of sins forgiven. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Based on Nehemiah 9:16-17 NAS
