morning prayer (6/20/2016)

Good morning Jesus. I have forgiveness on my mind today. Lord, I have friends who struggle with accepting your forgiveness. They think their sin is far too great; that they have gone too far into darkness to ever be forgiven. Lord, today reveal yourself to them. Speak to them in a way they can hear you and let them know that through the blood of Jesus they can be forgiven of every single sin they have ever committed. There is no sin that is so great that it is not covered by the precious blood of the Lamb. Set them free Lord. If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.  I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. Psalm 130:305
